Our client, a global leader in offshore projects, is looking for a Vessel Manager to take responsibility for one or more of their advanced geotechnical vessels.

Your role
As Vessel Manager, you are fully responsible for the management of the vessel(s), including crew, technical operations, and compliance with all safety, flag state, and class requirements. You work closely with both onshore and offshore teams, ensuring the vessel operates reliably, efficiently, and safely.
You also play a key role in budget planning and will be part of the Emergency Response Team.

What you’ll do

• Oversee the performance, safety, and availability of one or more geotechnical vessels;
• Lead the vessel management team and collaborate closely with the crewing department;
• Ensure compliance with all relevant maritime regulations, class, and flag state requirements;
• Take responsibility for budget preparation and reporting;
• Visit vessels and shipyards when necessary;
• Represent the company on all vessel-related matters.
